MUSIC IS OUR PASSION
Our aim is:
- To stimulate the student's love for music in a pleasant and relaxing manner.
- To develop the natural talent of the student and
- To create talent and music ability for those who feel that they don't have talent but have the DESIRE to play an instrument (or sing)
Background info:
Nikie:
- Studied for B Mus degree at Potchefstroom University
- Was part of the Alabama Student group that performed all over South Africa and in Namibia and Zimbabwe
- Played piano professionally with Musique Romantica quartet
- Started teaching - career at various schools as class singing teacher, choir mistress and entering children and choirs for eisteddfods
- Organist and choir mistress
- Teaching private tuition for many years
Louis:
- Studied guitar in Bulawayo (Zimbabwe) at Mike Barker studios
- Played guitar with various guitar bands
- Joined Nikie in teaching the guitar
Willemien:
- Part time teacher
- Trained with Louis and Nikie
- Guitar teacher
- Great with the young children and teens
